NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Alachua County, Florida, will consider the adoption of an ordinance at its meeting to be held in Room 209 of the Alachua County Administration Building, 12 Southeast First Street, Gainesvil le, Florida, on the 16th day of April, 2013, at 5:30 o'clock p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. Said ordinance being titled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF ALACHUA COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING A METHOD FOR EMPLOYEES IN ALACHUA COUNTY TO COLLECT UNPAID WAGES; CREATING CHAPTER 66, NONPAYMENT OF EARNED WAGES; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE CODE; PROVIDING FOR LIBERAL CONSTRUCTION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. The proposed ordinance is available for review at the Office of the County Commission, second floor, Alachua County Administration Building, 12 S.E. First Street, Gainesville, FL. All persons are advised that, if they decide to appeal any decision made at this public hearing, they will need a record of the proceedings and, for such purpose, they may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record inc ludes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
